BdGovLinks

One place to find official Bangladesh government websites

BdGovLinks is an unofficial directory of official Bangladesh government websites. It lists 187 sites in 21 categories, covering everything from passports and national ID to tax filing, driving licences and education board results.

The site says clearly that it is unofficial, and every link opens the official government website in a new tab.

The Challenge

Government services in Bangladesh are spread across many separate websites, and searching for something like a passport or NID service can easily lead to an unofficial or outdated page.

The directory had to be trustworthy, quick to search and easy to keep up to date.

Our Approach

01

Categories that match real needs

Links are grouped into categories such as Core Government, Public Services, E-Governance, Law and Judiciary, Health Services, and Disaster and Emergency.

02

Search first

A prominent search box filters the directory instantly, alongside live counts of websites and categories.

03

Honest by design

The site states that it is unofficial, shows when it was last updated, and invites visitors to report broken links or suggest new websites.

04

Answers to common questions

An FAQ in English and Bangla covers what people search for most: passports, NID status, tax filing, driving licences and board results.

Outcome

BdGovLinks gives citizens a fast, transparent starting point for finding official government services online.

  • 187 official websites in 21 categories
  • Instant search and category browsing
  • Broken-link reports and suggestions
  • English and Bangla

Key Takeaway

Useful public tools are built on trust: be clear about what you are, and keep the information current.
